    This location is small and in need of some renovation. But who cares right? Main thing the sushi tastes alright!

    Unlike some of the other Kozo location, this one doesn't offer any bento, but they do offer the poke bowl and the family sushi platter among the usual hand rolls and sushi items.

    I love their California roll and find their inari sushi (cone) is very juicy and delicious.  If you plan on ordering a family platter, it's best to order in advance.

    I have been looking for a small cheap lunch for ages. Hawaii does not do small or cheap very well. Today I stopped in here and for $2.08 I got a hand roll with crab stick and cucumber. Two would be a perfect lunch, but after a big breakfast this was all I needed to get to dinner! Perfect. Looked clean and organized. It's no Nobu but it was just right!

    Halloween potluck dinner at mom's house!

    What shall I bring?

    I'm too tired to grocery shop and I don't have time to cook...

    Let's buy something that I wouldn't make...

    How about a sushi platter?

    My mom, sister, and niece were so happy and excited with my choice!

    I have ordered from Kozo Sushi in the Windward City Shopping Center in the past, so I gave them a call and placed an order.  From the photo of a menu on Yelp, I guessed that a Hibiscus Platter would do the trick.

    Wrong.

    I went to the shop to take a look at the plastic food displayed in the glass case.

    Oh oh...

    Hibiscus Platter looks too small for my 2 brother in laws, 2 sisters, 3 nieces, nephew and his girlfriend, mom, and whoever else is invited (my mom's church friend and her family; and my sister's 3 coworkers and their children).  

    I asked if I could change my order...

    No problem!

    I ordered a Hibiscus Platter and a combo roll.  The food was a hit!

    Thanks for the free parking, efficient service, and no nonsense take-out business!  I'll be back!

    Fast, decent sushi, at a cheap price...you dont get fast, cheap great sushi, but you can get decent sushi here. Not the biggest selection,  but you will find what you want...likely. I love sushi and have eaten it all over the world, but this place is a okay for the convenience and price.
